"Newbold Technologies far exceeded our expectations and provided outstanding value for our investment. They provided a clear roadmap with sound estimates of the costs, skills and timeframes required to accomplish the Treasury's objectives. That roadmap has enabled our department to meet Treasurer Deters' commitment of using technology to ensure maximum efficiency in the Treasury's operations."

"Newbold Technologies's expertise was remarkable. They conducted highly interactive lectures with class discussions. The course content was practical and to the point. Our personnel are now handling larger and more complex projects with greater efficiency and effectiveness".

Cindy Bordas
Business Systems Group Manager
"I wanted to let you know what a pleasure it is working with Scott. His documentation has been outstanding and a good reference already and he communicates timely and appropriately. I have never had such well written and concise documentation from any other vendor I have worked with on a new development. I let our CEO review it - and he is very pleased as well.

IDI is a full service industrial real estate firm and Newbold Technologies helped them to develop an eBusiness web environment to market large properties and business parks across the US. They currently have more than 101 million square feet of space in more than 70 business parks throughout the United States with an inventory of properties that were managed primarily by eight regional offices. (www.idi.com) a key component was developing a module to handle the development and production of PDF files that would show the key measurements of the property.

The platform was Microsoft's Internet Information Services 6.0 with the .NET Framework version 1.1 (Web hosting and programming) and SQL Server 2000 (database) running on a Windows 2003 Server. Tools used to develop the eBusiness framework were Visual Studio 2003 (Integrated Development Environment) utilized in conjunction with SQL Server 2000's Enterprise Manager. The language of the application is Visual Basic .NET (VB.NET) with ASP.NET development technology support. Several 3rd party tools were integrated iTextSharp (PDF creation) and FCK Editor

"Data security has become an increasingly important area for financial institutions. We have gradually increased our security over the years, but felt that we needed to step back and review our computer network in an orderly manner. Newbold Technologies provided what we were looking for by performing a Risk Assessment of our system. Their flow chart of our network was invaluable in pointing out weaknesses in our data security. More importantly, they installed the necessary software to correct any weak points and to continuously monitor for any intrusions to our system. We look forward to working with Newbold Technologies on the monthly and quarterly schedule established to keep our network updated against any outside security attempts."

Newbold Technologies created a Labor Tracking Module to be a Web front end to the Visual Manufacturing software and used a WLS 9000 reader to handle the transaction input.

The module was a Microsoft VB.NET Web Application developed for the 1.1 Framework using Visual Studio 2003. Visual Basic .NET was the primary programming language, JavaScript and HTML (HyperText Markup Language) were also used.

Two primary database versions of Visual Manufacturing were supported by the application – SQL-Base by Gupta Worldwide and SQL Server 2000 by Microsoft. Various settings were configurable by the user via the administration page of the LTS application.
